One of the sweetest and heartwarming high standard romance comedy is this one , Lee Young-joon who is a strict vice chairman of a big company and his incredible secretary Kim Mi-so , who suddenly decides to quit after nine years of working with him. young-joon and Mi-so in young age had a past of kidnapping with a promise to marry each other . In future the ceo doesn't want Mi-soo to quit so he does everything in his reach. The drama fully lingers around keeping her with him and that fantastic office romance.

Review

If you like watching office romance and one sided love for long with slowburn you must watch this one they have very little rivalry so it could be comfort drama for many.

The story begins when a South Korean fashion executive named Yoon Se-ri who accidentally lands on north Korean zone while paragliding where she was rescued by the north Korean army caption (not particularly rescued but let it sink (❁´◡`❁)) . Afterwards the romantic feeling arises between them when he tries to send her back home without the country knowing about it at all, The story roams around there love and the challenges they face while sending yoon se-ri home.

Review

This Drama made me question "How much of a difference could be too much?"because even when there was such a drastic difference between them they still couldn't breath without each other, maybe this is love.

My name is a action-thriller kdrama about Yoon Ji-woo who is a detective in the criminal organization and works as mole in narcotics unit, She secretly enters the police force to avenge her father's murder. She is trained by a drug gang boss Choi Mu-jin and the training period of her showed how strong she is mentally and emotionally , she became the best fighter who fought and won above everyone . In the process of getting closer to the truth she met her partner in the police force named Jeon Pil-do. Ji-woo was emotionally tarnished when she found out about her fathers murder.

Review

This one is fully dedicated to revenge but Ji-woo as the powerful character spoke volume and as someone who loves to see action and also women fighting because it's hot seeing women fight even thought i cried watching this whole series i still completed it in one night and i swear this drama wouldn't let you skip any part particularly not those fighting scene.

As the name says this Kdrama is purely related to the elite influencers and celebrity .Initially Seo Ah-ri is poor girl but later she started social media and becomes an overnight sensation after the chance encounter with a former friend then she joined a society for elite influencers called Gabin society where she got an exposure of dark side of this glamorous world like which fuels it's success , including harassments , drug use, scams etc. She became a victim of this so called glamorous society thus planned for revenge and now this genius side of Ah-ri is shown by taking her revenge. In this whole story she had so much chemistry with Han Jun-Kyung who is wealthy bachelor attracted by Ah-ri and to save her and help her he uses his social status.

Review

This Kdrama was initially not on the my list to watch but after watching it's recommendations i gave it a go and it really blew my mind but honestly even after having perfect storyline and cast choice it was really behind on featuring the story towards Ah-ri and Jun-Kyung because they had commendable chemistry but at the same time i think it's still perfect because it focused on the main purpose but the heart still says they needed the romantic factor.

Su ho is an North Korean spyand Young ro is a collage student who disguised as poor and has only her grandmother but in reality she is the daughter of next president of south Korea . in blind date they find each other due to their friends, From there onwards young ro waits for him but in anonymous situation she thought he is a protestor like her brother hence she protected him in her hostel but little did she know he is the rival cop disguised as an ex German student . he afterwards take hostage the whole hostel where the story lingers between south Korea and north Korea rivalry and romantic tension between su ho and young ro but the hate and love of young ro keeps her sane.

Review

One of the most traumatizing ending out their is this one but it was predictable from the start but whatsoever this was the kdrama i started because of Jisoo and also coincidently my favorite Jung hae-in was the co actor of jisoo and after watching this show it became my comfort show (excluding the ending) and don't forget to watch behind the scenes 😉.

Do bong-so is a cute short little girl that know one could imagine her being the strongest, do bong so's ancestors have superpower of producing strong women who could help the world but when used for unfair means the power goes only on that second, she hides her power well but a ainsoft compony CEO saw how strong she is and offered her the job of bodyguard and because she was struggling to find any job she accepted it but later CEO gains feelings for do bong so but she is love sick on a cop who was her crush from childhood but a love triangle arises between them , whole story lingers around finding the serial killer in do bong region who take hostage pretty and skinny women.

Review

It has one of the best comedies of all time , Do bong so was such a fun character and also the cute slowburn between them was literal heaven to watch with mystery of that serial killer trying to kidnap the girls and taking revenge. It is a must watch if you like to see love triangle, supernatural activities.

13.Vincenzo

Vincenzo Cassano a brilliant lawyer for Italian mafia returns to korea to retrieve 1.5 tons of gold secretly hidden beneath the Geumga plaza where he finds the residents of that plaza and i guess it is safe to say that they are super weird yet really kind hearted. Vincenzo met lawyer who wants to take revenge of her fathers death and her name is Hong cha-young , They both together take revenge with Babel Group and in this process they fall in love but without confessing the slow-burn romance starts to make plenty of room in the drama.

Review

It wouldn't hurt to say that the romance was pretty much not the idea but the chemistry was top notch and without a doubt i would suggest this K-Drama to beginners because of it's full package show of comedy , action ,thriller, chemistry ,revenge etc.

One of the best romance drama out there is this one without a doubt , The love story between Kim tan who is a wealthy high school student and a poor girl Cha Eun-sang is top notch . Cha eun-sang travels to U.S to find her sister but all she got was disappointment and this harsh reality leads her to Kim tan where he starts to build feelings for her but the story makes a turn when she enters a Kim tan's school without him knowing and there Choi young-do also starts to develop feelings for her leading to love triangle . There after the drama highlights the challanges of being a couple with different social classes and also undefeatable strong female lead Cha Eun-sang overcoming all the misshapes and consequences of being from a economically weaker section in school full of chaebols.

This was the Drama which made me like romantic k drama's as i was actually not a romantic K-drama lover but now if i see myself i have actually not looked back again and i try all the genres with full heart. And also Lee Min-ho is everyone's Favorite so is mine and honestly Teenagers like teen dramas so if you are teen then give this a go!!.

This K-drama is not like your regular K-drama it is about a demon named Justitia who is sent to earth in a human body of Kang Bit-na who is a elite judge because she was wrongly condemned to hell by Justitia now Justitia has to sentence ten murderers who have no regret , sorrow, or remorse to the hell within a year and in this process she met a diligent detective named Han-Da-on who becomes suspicious when criminals acquitted in Bit-na's court turn up dead but still he had feelings for her from the start making him question himself but him being diligent in his work made Justitia want him dead as soon as possible but later she starts to gain feelings for the detective leading to dangerous situations as she is not allowed to have any feelings . The story follows Justitia as she juggles her dark missions with her new life as a judge all while the suspicion of detective grows.

Review

Watch this drama if you love thriller , action dramas and it is not at all a drama which could make you skip any part of it, This is the first drama of Park Shin-hye with this confidence and strong character apart of being a strong poor character and she did a commendable job with acting that you wouldn't wanna miss this Drama because it has a strong message , How much a of strong rock hearted person you are with love, kindness, humanity you change you have feelings and it's just that you are not showing doesn't mean you don't have it.

16.Bon Appettite Majesty

One of the best historical fantasy drama out their is this one. A modern day Michelin-starred chef Yeon Ji-yeong who time travels to the Joseon dynasty where she was taken by King Yi-heon but initially she had no idea who it was taking her so much time to get to know she time traveled but her cooking skill impressed every cell of the king thus he scouted her to be his personal chef. But leter he started to build feelings for the chef leading him to protect her in every situation. The enemy of King started to do cheap stuff to concur the dynasty. Keeping aside all the action the comedy shined with fusion cuisine's by Ji- yeon chef and through her cooking and cheeky personality she cleared a space in everyone's heart.

Review

In 2025 starting and ending released Kdrama have my heart this one secures a good spot because it is a package of comedy romance action mystery time travel etc. and the cooking recipes blew my mind because as an Indian i am a certified foodie.s

15.While You Were Sleeping

This drama's main concept focus on the dream these three people see Nam Hong-joo who is a former field reporter, Jong Jae-chan is a clumsy prosecutor and Han Woo-tak is a police officer. First Hong-joo starts to see future disasters in her dreams but couldn't help to change and feels really powerless to stop them then this clumsy officer moves next door to Hong-joo and begin to have some unpleasant feeling that something bad is gonna happen thus feeling compelled to intervene and change the future and with them Han Woo-tak also joines to help but later the love triangle happen for Hong-joo but still the story works as fine as it should be by preventing tragedy by themselves all this happing made the drama a nice unique legal thriller K drama.

They have ultimate mystery and that's why it is pretty hard to skip any part of it also the chemistry main leads had was amazing to watch but felt really bad for the 2nd lead as Jung hae-in is my favorite and for him i started watching this and let me tell you it's a masterpiece.

This one is a zombie related series . Survival and escape was the main motive because a science teacher from Hyosan high creates a rapidly spreading zombie "Jonas" virus in an attempt to help his bullied son which spreads rapidly and turns the school as global outbreak zone leading to many students turning zombie and thus that the students, including childhood friend Nam On-jo and Lee Cheong-san , class president and ex delinquent Lee su-hyeok , face a constant battle against fast-moving , flesh eating zombies. They use teamwork to navigate the school's halls and classrooms which are not in the contact of zombies all over they run all over the place fight with the zombies to survive but in between survival and amidst chaos a bully named Yoon Gwi-nam became a half zombie ("halfbie") who relentlessly pursues cheong-san also Lee Na-yeon's selfishness and prejudice also leads to many tragic outcomes like death of Cheong-san's bestfriend. Throughout their journey they experience significant loss , with family and friends sacrificing themselves to protect others on dangerous situations.

Review

One of the most popular and I woudn't deny it's popularity at all as they have their story clutching every section like crush,love, survival, humanity, selfishness etc. It will give you full reality check of how a human can be in diffucult situations. We are all waiting patiantly for it's 2nd season.

As the name says this is game related K drama but if you lose you die, Seong Gi-hun who is indebted gambler divorced who couldn't rise his daughter is lured into this deadly competition and similarly other people who have are living like hell and have no choice but to get lured by this tempting game where the winner could get massive cash prize, but after 1st game they get to realize that these korean children's games are not something to be taken lightly it will eventually take your life if you lose. But obviously some greedy people doesn't care about others life resulting the game to continue, amidst of all inhuman acts were bound to happen with bad kind of people and these players started killing any one coming in front of them wanting to reduce the competetion. The one who won and got the prize was determined to fint the front man the vip guest and the creator of the game ,Leading him to join this deadly game again to unfold the truth in season 2.

Review

lowkey made my heart race by those games , The 1st season was a materpiece it made a big impact when it was 1st introduced and every single episode made it much more aluring to watch it does have some s*xual scense so it's your choice to watch that part but apart from those things it have so many games which showed innocence of the player their teamwork and hardcore dedication to win as their life was in line made it much more adictive to watch.

11.Pyramid Game

short yet great Kdrama, It is about school bullying , social hierarchy , revenge all centered around transfer student Soo-ji at Baekyeon Girls' high school who discovered a game of monthly popularity called "Pyramid Game" which is the deciding factor of whom will be bullied for whole month but Soo-ji understood how the game works as she is a military brat who is taught from young age how to adapt and because of her upbringing she used her manipulation and alliances to climb the rank and expose the game's origin. she found out the psychology of bullying , social class, corruption with school system and showed us the fight for justice as a strong female lead she had instance emotional stakes.

Review

If you love watching thriller mystery and most importantly mind related games featuring bullying and you like dark psychology then you must watch this drama it has all of it little by little. This kdrama shows and teaches how cruel someone be just for fun and how psycho can be regardless of age teaching us to be brought up with flexibility to be adaptable in any situation.

17.Hotel Del Luna

It tells the story of Jang Man-wol an immortal women who is cursed to run a hotel for ghosts which is invisible to most humans , running for thousand years due to past sin, catering to spirits with unfinished business and serving as resting place for wandering spirits before they move to the afterlife. She meets Gu Chan-sung whose father promised Man-wol that his son will become hotel manager of the hotel in exchange of his life leading Chan-sung being forced to manage the hotel and becoming the first human manager. The series explore the stories of various spirits who check into the hotel with unfinished issues resolved by Man-wol and Chan-sung.

Review

Main lead had a cute lovely romance with this overall story it is funny and yet could be horror for some but it is not that much. You could watch this one if you like romance , horror comedy , strong female lead.

14.W: The two world

It is a fantasy romance k drama about a main lead of comic book named W written by the father of Oh Yeon-joo (female lead) who is a cardiothoracic surgeon. "W" is a very famous comic book in the real world and it is about it's main lead Kang chul who is a wealthy Olympic gold medalist but no one knew that the comic world was going on like a real world just in other dimension and Yeon joo was dragged on the comic world by kang chul who was unconscious because he was deeply injured because of the villain in comic, further Kang chul tries every way to find Yeon joo and ask her bunch of questions but all this time it was never in the hands of Yeon jo to go back into the comic book but eventually in the show they fell in love and in the amidst of survival of kang chul they have bunch of comedic parts and some lovely moments.

Definitely it is a kdrama for those who love time travel or just pure fantasy, Not only me but also some of the people i know all of them rewatched this masterpiece and it shouldn't stay underrated because it deserves all the love from kdrama fans.

9.Lovely runner

It is indeed a complicated k drama to watch but at the same time so interesting,Im Sol is a devoted K-pop fan girl who is a big fan ofSun-jae since he talked with her in television radio call without knowing in what phase of life Im sol was going through he consoled her in that brief moment and it made a big positive impact on Im sol's life but a tragedy happens after some years Sun jae's tragic death takes place leading to Im Sol's time travel and going back to 15years to 2008 leading to a bittersweet story of destiny, first love and preventing tragedy.

A complicated story which stays in the heart of many k drama fans as it showed how a love could make you do things that the whole destiny decides to change for you , the struggle the love the prevention and every bittersweet part made it a little closer to perfection but some people don't like how much Im-Sol cried in the whole show and how much the story rounds in itself making it complicated but i will always advice togive this masterpiece a try .

A comfort drama of many because there is no enemy the situation is the real enemy , it is about life , friendship, nostalgia , love and so on, It captured how lives were back then without smart phone and internet . The story had central love triangle but before this i wanna tell you that this drama has five childhood friends who are really really close. Sung Deok-sun is a beautiful cheerful middle child struggles for attention in her own home finds her comfort with her friends , Choi Taek is a genius Baduk(Go) player he is quiet and often dependent on his friends and also loves Deok sun but there was another among those friends who likes Deok sun named Kim Jung-hwan he was a soccer loving boy from a wealthy family like upper middle class i could say (^///^) , Ryu Dong-ryong is a geeky but kind of knowledgeable friend who is also poor but brings life in the group with Deok sun. The story shows life of them with hardships and unity , the love triangle stays still for so long that it becomes cliff hanging situation that who will get our girl!!!.

The best comfort drama which let us feel so many emotions that it was overwhelming to see, I am not someone who tries a kdrama with no mystery and thriller or any complicated story but because of Park Bo-gum i started watching this and just wanna say that it is a kdrama which couldn't be described how good it is so give this a chance if you have not given it yet.

It is based on real-life love story of Hong Kyung-ja and her husband from Jeju island. This dramas showed decades of love of Gwan-sik and his wife Ae-sun , Ae-sun was a spirited aspiring poet but she was loved unconditionally by Gwan-sik since childhood and after becoming adults they overcome every difficult hurdle to marry each other. Gwan-sik was so hardworking and a loving husband and father he overcomed poverty and raised his son and daughter with Ae-sun and after decades their daughter could do everything her mother couldn't at her time making the viewers feel a bundle of emotions. The story takes turns towards daughters love story. The story explores deep themes of love, loss, resilience, female strength ,breaking cycle of poverty, and the definition of family , all set against historical Korean events.

Review

This Drama held so many deep emotions that it made almost every viewer shed their tears on such scene , It showed how a person in love could go to such lengths making their partner and family feel special . I'm still in awe that it was a real story that actually happened. It deserves all the love it is getting and also the actors did so exceptional job giving justice to the real story makes it more beautiful to watch. I would say it is one of those drama's that should be watched at least once in your lifetime regardless of your favorite genre.
